As you can imagine, there will be a lot of photographs collected for each young person as you progress through to making a whole passport, it takes 54 images to make a full passport. If you multiply this by the number of young people in your class group this could equal CHAOS! It will all be a lot simpler if you follow the tips below...... 1. Before you start collecting images, create a folder on your desktop, you do this by right clicking on your mouse, going to New then Folder. You can then name this folder trans-active. 2. Remember to use lower case letters to name your photos or folders and don't have gaps between words. 3. Now, create folders for all the young people who will make passports. You do this by right clicking on your mouse, going to New then select Folder, name this folder with the child's name. 4. Next make a folder for each unit of the passport, you can do this by right clicking on your mouse , going to New then Folder name this folder with the Unit Name(e.g. about me, advocacy) (Each of these folders sits inside the other) 5. To keep track of each photo or image use your checklist in class
to mark down who takes what photo, then use this to name photos you have
uploaded onto the computer in your main Trans-active folder.
- You can follow this process for each unit, naming photos by where they are going in the passport and storing them under each unit file in each young person's folder.
